Update#2 | Important Notice From The Kuala Lumpur Bar Committee – Precautionary Measure

Dear Members of the Kuala Lumpur Bar,

Further to our emails of 5 March 2020 and 6 March 2020, the KL Bar Secretariat staff have been called in for testing by Jabatan Kesihatan Wilayah Persekutuan.

 

Whilst none of the staff are exhibiting any symptoms, nevertheless, as a precautionary measure and as advised by Jabatan Kesihatan Wilayah Persekutuan, the staff will work from home until 12 March 2020. As such, we are closing the Secretariat with immediate effect until 12 March 2020.

 

We request Members to liaise with the Secretariat through email (klbc@klbar.org.my) during these few days. Our staff will respond to all emails in a timely manner. We regret to inform that we are suspending the issuance of subscription certificates and event registrations until 12 March 2020.

 

We apologise for the inconvenience caused but we hope for your understanding and support during this time.
