Dear Members of the Kuala Lumpur Bar,
On 30 October 2023, the Civil Practice and Court Liaison Committee (“CPCLC“) issued Circular No. 164/2023, informing members of two decisions of the Court of Appeal which had interpreted Rule 18 (7) and (7A) of the Rules of the Court of Appeal 1994.
Since then, we have continued to liaise with the Chief Registrar’s Office regarding the grounds of judgment for the above decisions.
Please be informed that the Broad Grounds of Judgment for the decision of Aliff Syukri Bin Kamarzaman v Mohamad Syazwan Bin Shuhaimi (Civil Appeal No: B-02(IM)(NCVC)-695-04/2022) has now been uploaded in the e-Judgement Portal.
