Members who have already registered should have received a verification email to activate your account to participate in the AGM. Please note that the AGM is scheduled for 2:00pm and the quorum of 448 has to be present by 3:00pm for the meeting to commence. If the quorum is not present by 3:00pm, the AGM will be adjourned to 3:05pm and if the quorum is not present within one hour from the time appointed for holding the adjourned meeting, the members present shall constitute the quorum. The adjourned AGM will then start at 4:05pm.
Thus, we urge all members who have registered for the AGM to log-in by 2:00pm.

Dear Members of the Kuala Lumpur Bar,
Further to our Circular No. 013/2021, kindly take notice that in light of the extension of the Movement Control Order to 4 March 2021, the 29th Annual General Meeting (“AGM”) of the Kuala Lumpur Bar will now be held virtually, details as follows:

Members are advised to register in order to participate in the AGM and to do so not later than 2.00pm Malaysian Time, 25 February 2021. This is to ensure that the member verification process conducted by the Secretariat goes on smoothly. Please click here to register.
Kindly take note that similar to physical AGMs, only Members of the Kuala Lumpur Bar with a valid Sijil Annual and Practising Certificate 2021 are entitled to attend, participate and vote at the AGM. Pupils in Chambers may register to attend as observers but will not be allowed to vote or participate at the AGM.
Members are reminded not to physically attend the AGM.
