Dear Members of the Kuala Lumpur Bar,
As members may be aware, the Cross-Border Insolvency Act 2026 (Act 877) came into force on 28 August 2026.
Moving forward, we have been informed that all cases under the Cross-Border Insolvency Act 2026 are to utilise the existing NCC commercial case code when registering the same with our Courts.
Members are requested to take note of this requirement and ensure compliance by selecting the appropriate case code when handling matters involving the Cross-Border Insolvency Act 2026.
