Temporary Closure Of The KL Bar Secretariat

Dear Members of the Kuala Lumpur Bar and Pupils-in-Chambers,

 

Due to recent weather conditions, we were informed by the Wisma Badan Peguam Malaysia’s building management office that the premises occupied by the Secretariat cannot operate until further notice. We understand that the flood has also affected the basement parking, lifts and premises operating around Wisma Badan Peguam Malaysia.

 

In view of the above, the Secretariat will be closed physically tomorrow, 20 December 2021 until further notice, and the staff will resume work remotely.

 

Should any Member wish to liaise with the Kuala Lumpur Bar Committee or the Secretariat, kindly do so through email (klbc@klbar.org.my). The Secretariat will respond to all emails in a timely manner.

For service of Borang 1-8 and all pupillage related matters, kindly email petition@klbar.org.my.

For payment of membership subscriptions, members may pay directly to the KLBC’s HSBC Account, details as below and e-mail their Bank Transaction Advice together with their Full Name to ros@klbar.org.my for the Secretariat to process the receipt/subscription certificate.
