Dear Members of the Kuala Lumpur Bar,
Following the announcement by the Prime Minister on 1 May 2020 of the decision to reopen businesses and the implementation of a Conditional Movement Control Order effective 4 May 2020, the Kuala Lumpur Bar Committee has decided to reopen the KL Bar Secretariat on Monday, 4 May 2020 which has been closed since the imposition of the Movement Control Order (MCO) on 18 March 2020.
However during this fourth phase of the MCO, the staff will not be working in full force. Those who are able to work remotely from home will continue to do so on a rotation basis but rest assured that the staff will render all assistance to members in a timely manner, whether they are working from home or the office.
Please also rest assured that in reopening the KL Bar Secretariat, the Kuala Lumpur Bar Committee has put in place protocols to ensure the safety of the staff and those who would be visiting the Secretariat.
