At the 32nd Annual General Meeting of the Kuala Lumpur Bar held on 29 February 2024, it was resolved that the KLBC annual subscription for 2024 shall remain at RM125.00 per member.
Pursuant to Section 73(i) of the Legal Profession Act 1976, the subscription to the State Bar Committee shall be payable by the 30th day of June each year.
SUBSCRIPTION PAYABLE TO THE KUALA LUMPUR BAR COMMITTEE
A) Newly Admitted to the Bar / Have not been in Practice
Commencing practice before 1st July – RM125.00
Commencing practice after 30th June and before 1st October – RM62.50
Commencing practice after 30th September – Exempted
B) Resuming Practice – RM125.00. Send Statutory Declaration together with the payment slip.
C) Was Practising Outside Kuala Lumpur / Practising Outstation but Partner of Firm with an office in Kuala Lumpur
Commencing practice in Kuala Lumpur/made a partner before 1st July – RM125.00
Commencing practice in Kuala Lumpur/made a partner after 30th June – RM62.50
