Remand Proceedings And Mentions For Criminal Cases At The Kuala Lumpur Criminal Courts During Hari Raya Aidilfitri

Dear Members of the Kuala Lumpur Bar,

The Criminal Law Practice Committee has contacted the relevant officer at the Criminal Courts in Kuala Lumpur to inquire regarding the conduct of remand proceedings and mentions during Hari Raya Aidilfitri.

Please take note that all remand proceedings from Dang Wangi Remand Court and Jinjang Remand Court will be conducted at Brickfields Remand Court on 10 and 11 April 2024.

Furthermore, in conjunction with Hari Raya Aidilfitri, the majority of the Judicial Officers/Magistrates and Sessions Criminal Court Judges will be on leave, particularly on 8, 9 and 12 April 2024.
