Dear Members,
With the aim of diversifying our Continuing Legal Events (CLE) and given that we are in the post-pandemic stage now, the Professional Development Committee will gradually organise some physical events in addition to the on-going online events:
(1) Seminars in Bahasa Malaysia
The KLBC is committed in enhancing the command of Bahasa Malaysia amongst members and in this regard, the PDC is inviting members to volunteer to conduct CLE seminars in Bahasa Malaysia. Please contact Rose at rose@klbar.org.my if you wish to volunteer.
(2) National Litigation Conference 2022 (NLC 2022)
We will be hosting the NLC 2022 in the last quarter of the year and we are calling law firms to sponsor this main CLE event for the KL Bar. The sponsoring law firms will be invited to nominate speakers for the session(s) sponsored by them. We have 2 sponsorship tiers i.e. Main Sponsor at RM30,000 and Session Sponsor at RM7,500. (3) KL Bar’s High Tea Talk
A new flagship event of the PDC, where public personalities are invited to speak on a current topic in relation to the Federal Constitution. This will be a ticketed event which comes with a high tea reception. The PDC welcomes sponsorship for this event and the sponsoring law firm is given the exclusivity to nominate the moderator for the talk in addition to complimentary seats. Sponsorship starts at RM5,000. Please contact Rose at rose@klbar.org.my if you are interested to sponsor.
