Parking At The Kuala Lumpur Court Complex

Circular No: 114/2026
Date: 14 July 2026

Dear Members of the Kuala Lumpur Bar,

We understand the concerns raised by members regarding the parking fees at the parking outside Kuala Lumour Court Complex (“KMKL“), particularly those members who frequently attend the Court for their matters.

We also note that the parking spaces allocated for lawyers on the right side of the Court (within the Court premises) are insufficient, given the limited number of available parking lots. Members are reminded that only vehicles with the Malaysian Bar car sticker and/or car emblem will be permitted to park in these designated areas.

We wish to update members that we are currently engaging with the Kuala Lumpur City Hall (“DBKL”) to explore alternative arrangements for parking.

For the time being, as an alternative, we wish to remind members that additional parking is available along Jalan Sultan Mizan Zainal Abidin. Click here to view the designated area. The Court has opened a small gate at “Post B” (near the Child Care Centre) to provide easier access to the Court premises from that road.

We strongly urge members to refrain from parking along the shoulder of the road leading to KMKL, as such parking may obstruct the passage of heavy vehicles, including buses, BOMBA vehicles, and police trucks. Members are also advised that vehicles parked along the roadside may be subject to summonses issued by the Royal Malaysian Police and/or DBKL for obstructing traffic and violating road regulations.

Thank you.
