Further to our e-mail notification of 28 February 2020, we are pleased to inform you that the Kuala Lumpur Bar Committee [“KLBC”] for the term 2020/21 assumed office after the Kuala Lumpur Bar Annual General Meeting on 27 February 2020. At the first meeting on 24 March 2020 (held via video conferencing), the new KLBC appointed the Honorary Secretary of the KLBC pursuant to Section 70(6) of the Legal Profession Act 1976 and co-opted two members to the KLBC under Section 73(vii) of the Legal Profession Act 1976 as follows:
