Donation Drive In Conjunction With Ramadhan 2025 / 1446H

To our fellow brothers and sisters at the Kuala Lumpur Bar,

The holy month of Ramadhan is a time of reflection on ourselves, our families, our communities, and our society. In Malaysia, Ramadhan is not only a month to fulfil religious duties; it is also a month to show solidarity with and empathy for all human beings.

While some may choose to experience hunger until sunset, many out there starve without a choice.

In solidarity with our Muslim brethren during this fasting month, the Kuala Lumpur Bar Committee (“KLBC“) is organising its annual donation drive to raise funds for worthy causes. The recipient/beneficiary of the proceeds for 2025 will be Kechara Soup Kitchen Society.

Please email your payment slips to registration@klbar.org.my with the reference, “Ramadhan donation”. All donations above RM50 will be entitled to a TAX EXEMPTION Receipt. Kindly include your full name (as per IC), IC number and address for the Receipt.
