The holy month of Ramadhan is a time of reflection on ourselves, our families, our communities, and our societies. In Malaysia, Ramadhan is not only a month to fulfil religious duties; it is also a month to show solidarity with and empathy for all human beings.
While some may choose to experience hunger until sunset, many out there starve without a choice.
In solidarity with our Muslim brethren during this fasting month, the Kuala Lumpur Bar Committee (“KLBC“) is organising our annual donation drive to raise funds for worthy causes. The recipient/beneficiary of the proceeds for 2024 will be Kechara Soup Kitchen Society and Pertiwi Soup Kitchen.
