As the fasting month draws to a close and families prepare to celebrate Hari Raya Aidilfitri, the poor, hungry, and homeless among us have little or nothing to look forward to.
This Aidilfitri, we invite KL Bar Members to spare a thought and some change for the people who are not as privileged or as fortunate as the rest of us.
In solidarity with our Muslim brethren during this fasting month, the Kuala Lumpur Bar Committee (“KLBC”) is organising a donation drive, with proceeds to be channelled towards a worthy cause. The KLBC will inform members of the recipient/beneficiary of the proceeds subsequent to the close of collections.
