Dear Members of the Kuala Lumpur Bar,
As you are aware, the Senior Minister of Defence, YB Dato’ Sri Ismail Sabri bin Yaakob has announced the implementation of the Conditional Movement Control Order (CMCO) in the Federal Territory of Kuala Lumpur, Selangor, Penang, Johor, Negeri Sembilan, Kedah, Perak and Kelantan effective from 5 March to 18 March 2021.
Following the announcement, the Kuala Lumpur Bar Committee has received a notification from the Director of the Kuala Lumpur Courts regarding the operations of the Courts in Kuala Lumpur.
Kindly take note that the following directives and procedures are applicable to the High Courts and Subordinate Courts in Kuala Lumpur during the CMCO period.
- Garis Panduan Pengendalian Kes Secara Fizikal dan Melalui Teknologi Komunikasi Jarak Jauh di Mahkamah Persekutuan, Mahkamah Rayuan, Mahkamah Tinggi dan Mahkamah Rendah Seluruh Malaysia Semasa Tempoh Pandemik COVID-19; and
- Tatacara Operasi Standard Pencegahan Wabak Covid-19 Di Mahkamah Seluruh Malaysia Bagi Pengguna Mahkamah.
