Arrangements For The Conduct Of Remand Proceedings And Mentions For Criminal Cases At The Kuala Lumpur Criminal Courts During Hari Raya Aidilfitri

Dear Members of the Kuala Lumpur Bar,

The Criminal Law Practice Committee has inquired with the relevant officers at the Kuala Lumpur Criminal Courts about the conduct of remand proceedings and mentions during the Hari Raya Aidilfitri period.

Please take note that in conjunction with the Hari Raya Aidilfitri celebrations, all remand proceedings during the first and second days of Hari Raya Aidilfitri for cases from the Dang Wangi, Jinjang and Brickfields Remand Courts will be conducted only at IPD Jinjang. Additionally, assigned Magistrates will be available to hear mentions for cases from 2 to 4 April 2025. Click here for further information and/or to view the schedule for those days.
