Dear Members of the Kuala Lumpur Bar,
The recent floods in Pahang has caused devastation to the lives of thousands especially in Central West Pahang.
We are informed by the Pahang Bar Committee that in the above incident, Pahang Bar members, particularly 7 members have been badly affected wherein their respective homes and personal belongings were almost completely submerged under the floodwater.
The Pahang Bar Committee is currently organising a donation drive to assist those members affected by the floods and have approached us to seek your support and contributions to help ease the hardship and burden of the affected members.
Donations can be made through:
(1) Direct deposit to the Pahang Bar Committee’s CIMB Bank Berhad Account No. 8005350360 with reference: flood2021(KL BAR); or
(2) Cheque or Bank Draft, payable to Pahang Bar Committee.
The closing date for the Donation Drive is Friday, 19 February 2021.
We appeal to all our members to come together to extend our assistance to our fellow members of the Pahang Bar in this difficult time.
