The Ministry of Women, Family & Community Development is gathering public feedback via a simple survey on the Rang Undang-Undang Antigangguan Seksual 2021 (Anti-Sexual Harassment Bill 2021), due by 30 June 2022. The survey form can be accessed here.
Joint Action Group for Gender Equality (JAG), ENGENDER Consultancy and
Young Women Making Change (YWMC) have previously prepared a Memorandum on critical gaps in the Bill, the English version can be accessed here and the Bahasa Malaysia version can be accessed here. We urge you to read the memorandum to better understand what a comprehensive SH Bill could look like before sharing responses to the Ministry’s survey.
