Update#3 | Important Notice From The Kuala Lumpur Bar Committee – Unverified WhatsApp Messages Re COVID-19
Dear Members of the Kuala Lumpur Bar,
It has come to our attention that unverified WhatsApp messages are being circulated alleging that certain lawyers/law firms/judges are infected with COVID-19.
We would urge members/pupils to verify the information before deciding to forward the said messages so as not to spread fake news or cause unnecessary distress or anxiety to those named in such messages as well as recipients of the same.
The Kuala Lumpur Bar Committee will continue to keep members updated on the matter as and when necessary. In the event if any of you have any queries, please email us at klbc@klbar.org.my.
