Dear Members of the Kuala Lumpur Bar,
The Kuala Lumpur Bar Young Lawyers Committee will be organising its KL Bar-LIAAM Moot Court Competition 2025 (“Competition“). The Competition is scheduled as follows:
Date : 29 and 30 November 2025 (Saturday and Sunday)
Time : 9:00am to 5.00pm
Venue : Kuala Lumpur Court Complex, Jalan Tuanku Abdul Halim 50506 Kuala Lumpur
Since its inauguration in September 2019, the KL Bar – LIAAM Moot Competition is a project by the KLBC YLC which is targeted at pursuing excellence in both oral and written advocacy amongst law students as part of their legal education.
We take pride in distinguishing the KL Bar – LIAAM Moot Competition 2025 from other moot competitions by providing participants with the experience of submitting in an actual courtroom setting. Each session will be presided over by a panel of judges that generally includes members of the Judiciary and seasoned legal practitioners. At the conclusion of each session, participants will be given constructive tips and feedback on how they might improve their oral and written advocacy skills.
