Dear Members of the Kuala Lumpur Bar,
As you may be aware, 14 main roads in Putrajaya are closed from 26 August to 29 August 2025 for the rehearsals in relation to the upcoming National Day celebrations on 31 August 2025. The effected roads and relevant timings are set out in the Press Statement issued by Ketua Polis Kuala Lumpur, which can be accessed here.
The affected roads include the roads surrounding and leading to the Palace of Justice. This may affect lawyers’ access to the same. As such, lawyers are advised to plan their journeys ahead and use alternative routes if they need to access the Palace of Justice tomorrow.
