Dear Members of the Kuala Lumpur Bar,
The Criminal Law Practice Committee has received feedback from lawyers that there were instances where remand proceedings at the Dang Wangi and Jinjang Remand Courts had commenced earlier than usual.
We have raised the issue with the Supervisory Judge of the Criminal Subordinate Courts for clarification. Please take note that the remand proceedings will commence as follows:
Monday – Friday: 11:00 am
Saturday – Sunday: 10:30 am
If there are any changes to the aforesaid time schedule, we will notify members by sending an eBlast upon receipt of the same from the Courts.
