To our fellow brothers and sisters in the Kuala Lumpur Bar,
The holy month of Ramadan is a time of reflection of our selves, our families, our communities, and our societies. In Malaysia, besides being a religious obligation, Ramadan is also a month of human solidarity. While we may choose to experience hunger until sunset, many around us starve without a choice.
Participating in solidarity with our Muslim brethren during this fasting month, the Kuala Lumpur Bar Committee will organise a donation drive to be channeled towards Women’s Aid Organisation (WAO) and Women’s Centre For Change (WCC).
