The late Dato’ Liew Teck Keong (Dato’ Liew) was born on 10 September 1955 in Kuala Lumpur. He obtained his early education at Cochrane Secondary School. He then graduated from the Middle Temple in London and called to the Malaysian Bar in early 1980.
Dato’ Liew began his early days in his legal profession by undergoing his period of pupillage in the firm of Shearn Delamore & Co. Upon completion of his pupillage, Dato’ Liew set up his own legal firm at Jalan Tuanku Abdul Rahman known as Liew & Co.
Dato’ Liew left behind his beloved wife, Datin Helen Lim Bee Wah and 4 lovely children.
Dato’ Liew was a man of great charisma, jovial, friendly and ever ready to help anyone at all times. He had put everyone in his life before himself and had touched many hearts. He had never expected any recognition in return and will always be remembered and treasured. He was adored by his loved ones, his staff and people who knew him well.
Dato’ Liew has left us with a lifetime of memories to cherish and he will always live on in our hearts. May his soul rest in peace.
