Dear Members of the Kuala Lumpur Bar,
It has come to our attention that some members have encountered harassment and intimidation while discharging their professional duties.
In light of the above, we wish to inform members that the Kuala Lumpur Bar Committee adopts a zero-tolerance policy towards issues related to lawyers being threatened by litigants and/or third parties, and we will stand by our members in order to operate without fear.
We wish to underscore that if you experience such harassment, please lodge a police report immediately and inform us so that we can follow up with the relevant Investigation Officer accordingly.
