Dear Members of the Kuala Lumpur Bar and Pupils in Chambers,
Following the announcement by the Federal Government that 1 February 2026 has been gazetted as a dual public holiday for Thaipusam and Federal Territory Day, we have sought confirmation and been informed that the Kuala Lumpur Courts will be operating as usual on 3 February 2026. However, please note that the Bar Room located on the 5th floor, will be closed on that day and will reopen on Wednesday, 4 February 2026.
