Dear Members of the Kuala Lumpur Bar,
Further to our Circular No. 033/2026, we are pleased to inform you that the Kuala Lumpur Bar Committee [“KLBC“] for the term 2026/2027 held our first meeting on 12 March 2026. At the said meeting: –
- Pursuant to Section 70(6) of the Legal Profession Act 1976, the KLBC appointed Shugan Raman as the Honorary Secretary
- The KLBC also appointed Brenda Rangithan as Treasurer to monitor, among others, the financial affairs of the Kuala Lumpur Bar.
- Pursuant to Section 73(vii) of the Legal Profession Act 1976, the KLBC has co-opted the following individuals as co-opted members of the KLBC:
3.1 Tay Kit Hoo; and
3.2 Nevyn Vinosh Venudran.
