About the Young Lawyers Committee

The Young Lawyers Committee was established in 2007. It represents and promotes the interest of junior members of the Kuala Lumpur Bar. It advises and organises programmes on all matters of concern to young lawyers including:

 
• Discrimination, harassment and welfare
• Leadership and professional development
• Networking within and beyond the Bar
• Retention of talent and career progression
• Social justice and community service
• Training and entry into the Bar

 
Notable past events of the Young Lawyers Committee include:
• Annual Charity Night
• Strategic Litigation Camp
• Introductory Session to the Legal Profession for undergraduates
• Networking through the Young Professional Alliance
• Legal Practice Management Course

 
Notice of 1st Meeting

The Young Lawyers Committee will be having its first meeting for the term 2017/2018 at the following time and place:
