We refer to our Circular No. 110/2025 dated 11 July 2025.
The Malaysian Bar’s Walk in support of the Judiciary is taking place at 2:00pm today.
As mentioned in our Circular, the Kuala Lumpur Bar has arranged for buses to transport members to the Palace of Justice. Buses will depart in stages from both Wisma Badan Peguam Malaysia, and the Kuala Lumpur High Court between 12:00pm to 1:00pm. Details of the buses are below:
Pick up Point: Wisma Badan Peguam Malaysia (in front of 7-11)
Time of departure: In stages from 12:00 to 1:00pm
Bus Number: WVH 6050, VDA 9666, SU 9666 J & WNY 9855
Pick up Point: Kuala Lumpur Court Complex (near the Medan Selera)
Time of departure: In stages from 12:00 to 1:00pm
Bus Number: WXX 2266, KCA 5599, JMG 9696 & WB 4048 U
Upon the completion of the Walk, the buses will transport members from the Prime Minister’s Office back to the initial departure points. There will be no need for members to return to the Palace of Justice first.
For members and pupils who intend to use the buses, please be at the designated pickup points within the departure period. There is no need for prior registration.
We hope to see members of the Kuala Lumpur Bar rise to the occasion and turn out in great numbers. This is the time to walk, in support of a strong, independent and integrous Judiciary, in defence of the rule of law, and to ensure the paramountcy of the Constitution. To show that we stand with the Judiciary, without fear or favour.
