Kuala Lumpur Bar Committee (“KLBC”) Subscription for 2026
Payable by 30 June 2026
(Members who have paid their subscription may disregard this reminder)
At the 34th Annual General Meeting of the Kuala Lumpur Bar held on 26 February 2026, it was resolved that the KLBC annual subscription for 2026 shall remain at RM125.00 per member.
Pursuant to Section 73(i) of the Legal Profession Act 1976, the subscription is payable by 30 June 2026.
All Advocates and Solicitors practising within the Federal Territory of Kuala Lumpur are required to pay the KLBC annual subscription.
Subscription Rates for 2026
A. Newly Admitted to the Bar / Not Previously in Practice
- Commencing practice before 1 July: RM125.00
- Commencing practice from 1 July to 30 September: RM62.50
- Commencing practice after 30 September: Exempted
B. Resuming Practice
- RM125.00
- Submit a Statutory Declaration together with the payment slip.
C. Previously Practising Outside Kuala Lumpur / Practising Outstation but Now a Partner in a Kuala Lumpur Firm
- Commencing practice in KL / appointed as partner before 1 July: RM125.00
- Commencing practice in KL / appointed as partner on or after 1 July: RM62.50
