Dear Members of the Kuala Lumpur Bar,

The Criminal Law Practice Committee (“CLPC”) is currently compiling feedback on archaic and obsolete laws related to criminal practices that are still in place within our legal system.

We invite criminal practitioners to provide information on any laws or legal provisions that are considered to be archaic, outdated, or no longer applicable in today’s context.

All feedback received will be forwarded to the Malaysian Bar’s Civil Law and Law Reform Committee.
