Dear Members of the Kuala Lumpur Bar,
Please be informed that at the request of the Kuala Lumpur Bar, an additional category has been included since 17 August 2023 in the E-Filing System (“EFS“) to enable parties to file, at the Court of Appeal, the Notice of Motion for leave to appeal to the Federal Court. This is to enable parties’ to comply with Rule 107(3) of the Rules of the Federal Court 1995 in a straightforward manner.
Please do note that the filing of the abovementioned Notice of Motion with the Court of Appeal is in addition to, and not in lieu of, the requirement for parties to file the same with the Federal Court.
