UPDATE | 30th Annual General Meeting Of The Kuala Lumpur Bar On Thursday, 24 February 2022 At 2:00PM – Annual Report

Dear Members of the Kuala Lumpur Bar,

Further to our Circular No. 011/2022, the registration for the 30th Annual General Meeting (“AGM”) of the Kuala Lumpur Bar will be as follows:

Date: Thursday, 24 February 2022
Time: 2:00pm Malaysian Time
Platform: Azeus Convene

Members are advised to register themselves not later than 10:00am Malaysian Time, 24 February 2022 in order to participate in the AGM This is to enable the Secretariat to verify members’ credentials ahead of time. Please click here to register.

Kindly take note that similar to physical AGMs, only Members of the Kuala Lumpur Bar with a valid Sijil Annual and Practising Certificate 2022 are entitled to attend, participate and vote at the AGM. Pupils in Chambers may register to attend as observers but will not be allowed to vote or participate at the AGM.

Members are reminded not to physically attend the AGM.

• The Right Honourable Chief Justice has very kindly agreed to allow adjournment of cases for members of the Kuala Lumpur Bar to attend the above AGM. The Right Honourable Chief Justice has directed that all applications for adjournment are to be made to the respective Court concerned.
