Dear Pupils-In-Chambers of the Kuala Lumpur Bar,
The Kuala Lumpur Bar Committee has been in communication with the Deputy Registrar of the Special Powers Division (BKKK) of the Kuala Lumpur High Court concerning the ongoing backlog of appointments for pupils to collect the necessary documents at the Registry.
Due to the overwhelming number of requests for appointment and unavoidable delay because of the Covid-19 pandemic, the Deputy Registrar seeks the kind understanding and patience of affected pupils.
The BKKK has indicated that it will reply all emails on a first-come, first-served basis in accordance to the date of receipt by the Court to fix appointments. Appointments may be made via one of the following methods:
(a) Contact 03-62094488 / 03-62094476;
(b) Email to officer: faizulmahhussin@kehakiman.gov.my / hamelia@kehakiman.gov.my
At present, the appointments at the Registration/Service Counters are limited to forty (40) pupils per day with the following operating hours:
Monday to Thursday – 8:30am to 12:30pm
Friday – 8:30am to 12:00pm
BKKK has further indicated that for matters concerning Sijil Penampalan, appointment and collection of documents required by BKKK, pupils are required to be present in person to deal with such matters.
