Dear members of the Kuala Lumpur Bar,
Please be informed that the 23rd Annual General Meeting (“AGM”) of the Kuala Lumpur Bar has been scheduled for Thursday, 12 February 2015 at 2:00 pm. Venue to be advised.
The Right Honourable Chief Justice and the President of the Industrial Court have very kindly agreed to allow adjournment of cases for members of the Kuala Lumpur Bar to attend the above AGM. The Right Honourable Chief Justice however has advised that members apply early for adjournments, i.e. no later than 22 January 2015 but for cases that are scheduled for the morning, no adjournment is necessary as the AGM is only starting at 2:00 pm unless the trial is outside the Klang Valley.
