The KL Bar Conveyancing Practice Committee (“CyPC”) had successfully organised the 2nd Hi Tea and Get-together on Thursday, 22.09.2011. This time the Ballroom of the Royal Selangor Club at Jalan Raja was the chosen venue.
The event was well attended by lawyers from the conveyancing practice. The invited guests were mainly from Pejabat Tanah dan Galian Wilayah Persekutuan Kuala Lumpur and Lembaga Hasil Dalam Negeri. The Directors of both agencies had attended this gathering.
The crowd was overawed by the master of ceremony, Syahizan Amir, a member of the CyPC, with his jokes, ‘pantun’ contest and comments.
This second event organised by the CyPC achieved its purpose of creating an avenue for conveyancing lawyers to gather, mingle and get to know each other as well as socialising and networking with the senior officers of the related government agencies.
It is our hope that this event will be held annually with more activities added to the programme. Click here for the photos.
