The 5th YLC Charity Nite 2009 on 03.07.2009 @ 7.00pm at Modesto's CapSquare
This year, we are showcasing talents among lawyers with the theme "Legally Talented" which is happening on 03.07.2009, 7.00 p.m., at Modesto's CapSquare. Legal Workbench and WiFi available in the Left Wing Bar Room, Level 5, KL Court Complex, Jalan Duta
Members of the Bar may or may not be aware that the Left Wing Bar Room is WiFi enabled. Access is free to lawyers only, but would need to request for the password from the KLBC's clerk based in that Bar Room. So, bring your notebook and surf in this Bar Room. Legal Workbench is also available in the 2 desktop computers at the same Bar Room for lawyers to carry out any quick research. Kuala Lumpur Bar Committee Subscription for the year 2009
The Bar Committee Subscription for the year 2009 has been fixed at RM100.00 per member at the 17th AGM of the KL Bar held on 26.02.2009. Pursuant to S.73(i) of the LPA 1976, the subscription shall be payable in each year to the State Bar Committee by the 30th day of June. Notification from the Shah Alam Court - Kompleks Mahkamah Petaling Jaya
The KLBC has received a notification from the Senior Sessions Court Judge of the Shah Alam Sessions Court notifying that the Petaling Jaya High Court, Sessions and Magistrates Courts will operate from the new Kompleks Mahkamah Petaling Jaya beginning 01.03.2009. The Petaling Jaya Sessions and Magistrates Courts will move from the old building at the end of February 2009 to the new building which is located in the same area.
